Winning Streak!

I seem to be on some kind of freak giveaway winning streak!  I'm not sure that I've ever won anything but since Thanksgiving, I've won 4, yes FOUR, quilting prizes!

Quilting Gallery hosted the Giving Thanks Blog Hop Party in November which is how I won these first 2 prizes.

2 Happy Go Lucky Charm Packs thanks to Cotton Bliss and The Sassy Quilter. I can't wait to make something springy with the charm packs, but I haven't decided what!  Any ideas?  I do love charm squares because you can make so many patterns with them and have very little cutting to do!  I'm all for ease and love quilts that go together quickly!

Aiming for Accuracy Book by Michele Foster thanks to Pat Sloan.  This was a great prize because I'm not so great at triangles!  This will hopefully give me plenty of practice and some great tips!

Henry Glass Fabrics hosted Naughty Or Nice Holiday Party where I won a fat quarter bundle and a layer cake.  Pretty great additions to my stash!

Kate Spain hosted a Christmas giveaway and I won her Solstice Layer Cake that's not even out until 2014!!!  In the box was also a lovely Christmas card from Kate Spain and a cute apron!

I am super excited about all my prizes and can't wait to create with them all.  The new year is just around the corner and that means all my block of the months and quilt alongs start!  I'm trying to plan out each project so I can organize everything.  I can't wait to start!

Here Goes Nothing!

I have signed up to do a few quilt alongs (QAL) in 2014 and I figured I should get on the blogosphere to connect it all!  You'll have to forgive my complete ignorance when it comes to making them so cute, but that's what google is for, right?  So it should be changing frequently as I learn more!

Here's what 2014 is going to bring!

Alison Glass' Feathers QAL through The Add Crafter (I still have to bite the bullet and purchase my fabric!)

2014 Online Stash Bee (I'm the Queen Bee for February so I've got to decide on a block I want my Hive Mates to make for me!)

Amy Gibson of StitcheryDickoryDock's 2014 Sugar Block Club.

Finish my growing UFO pile!

I bragged early to my quilter mom about how I finish everything, but my list of what I want to make is growing longer and longer and I've put it all to the side to finish Christmas stuff!  You know how that is!  Well, Christmas is a little more than a week away and then I can finish those UFO's and focus on the fun new quilting adventures I hope to have in 2014!
